Hi Lee,
Thanks for the info. Hope the price remains cos I was quoted by the reservations dept. of Holiday Inn Phi Phi at 2600.00 per person per way. That is costly.

That's probably by speedboat or some other private enterprise.

I paid around 1,100THB last two years ago on high speed boat for one day trip included a box of lunch & non-alcohol drink. Check with travel agency at Ao Nang.
Warning: this time of the year, please check the current weather before you get onboard. On Tuedays, August 21, 2007. A ferry boat carried 38 passengers & 4 crews was turnovered by the high wave storm on route to Phi Phi Island from Krabi. Luckily! the rescued team saved their life. Regards, Sitthi

Hi,
2600 baht is so expensive but they may give you an extra offer :-) Beginning of this year, I bought one day trip ticket to Phi Phi (by speed boat) from "Frank Tour"; the agency tour at "@KRABI PURA" guesthouse which located in town nearby the traffic police box and beside the Krabi River. It costed 1500 baht per person including hotel transfer, english speaking guide, snokling + life jacket, insurance, restaurant lunch, fruit and drinks. If I remember correctly, oneway to Phi Phi + hotel transfer is 350 baht (the new port is quite far from the city, if you buy from other agency, make sure that the transfer is already included). You'd better ask for the return ticket with open return date coz more flexible and cheaper. CP

Hi,
Just returned from Krabi 2 days ago and the weather is quite unpredictable. The waves are really choppy and raining heavily at certain times on the day we went to Phi Phi. But the weather on 4-island trip we went a day before was great. Low Peak price at this time of the year probably would be about $250 for the ferry as we had an offer $750-$800 THB on high speed boat, full day tour including snorkelling apparatus, buffet lunch, bottled water/coke. Just book latest the day before at one of the tour agencies along Ao Nang Beach
