Has anyone stayed at Melina Beach Resort? Would you recommend it ? - especially for snorkelling and kayaking?
Also feedback on Bamboo Hill chalets would be good please. Thanks |

No. Just spent last weekend at Minang Cove. Excellent but somewhat pricey. Great service. They will boat you to good snorkelling sites (or diving) or to trekking routes on the island. Good food (for kids too). Snorkelling from the jetty is very good by comparison to other resorts with frequent turtles, muray eels and even sharks (no worries, they've been fed :)) Minang Cove is a small place with only around 8 chalets. Comfortable and quiet. They have kayaks etc.

Thanks for the Minang Cove recommendation! I've read Melina has a house reef and wondered how good it was.
