Seychelles COCO d'Amour
Posted: Sun August 5, 2007 12:14 AM UTC
I visited Seychelles once and I had the pleasure of trying this amazing rum. I have searched the internet and cannot find anyone who sells it. Does anyone know where you can purchase a bottle and have it shipped to the U.S.

Why not ask the manufacturers, they are most likely to help you.
Good luck.

Sodepak Industries Ltd., Le Rocher, PO Box 394, Mahé.

I was there last month and fell in love with the stuff too! SOOOOOOOOOO good! Unfortunately, I couldn't find it at the stores at the airport. Someone told me they stopped making it.

I emailed the manufacturer as the last poster suggested - no response :(

PLEASE let me know if you find the stuff! Thanks!!!

OK, well I found the stuff on the web at www.globalsez.com -- but BEWARE! They waited three weeks and then told me they had finally shipped it, and that I would have it in four more weeks (so 7 weeks total). When it still didn't come, I asked them for the tracking number and name of the shipping company. They sent me a tracking number but no name of the shipping co.

Well, you have to pay with Paypal, and Paypal has a 45 day window in which disputes must be completed - that's within 6 weeks of payment.

So, I haven't been able to dispute the transaction with Paypal, and it looks like I've been scammed out of $140. Damn, I was so excited to finally get my hands on this stuff. I had emailed the manufacturer and not heard back, and when on the island, I was unable to find it in stores. I was told by two people that they didn't make it anymore. I guess Coco d'Amour will just have to remain an incredibly delicious memory...

It's too bad that this forum doesn't allow us to edit posts.

I just found out that Paypal has my old address on file, and that the package was sent there. It was not this company's fault at all - they are legitimate!!! I'm so sorry that I posted before I was sure; I should know better.

SOOOOOOOOOOOO, the great news for all us Coco D'Amour lovers is that you can get it from www.globalsez.com! And they are definitely legitimate :) My apologies to globalsez!
