Hi for my honeymoon next year I am going to Venice, Rovinj and then on to somewhere else but don't know where yet!. I have found the details for the ferry from Venice to Rovinj and was just wondering if anyone had done the crossing before? Is it rough? I don't want to be throwing up over the side on my honeymoon on front of my new husband!
Any info would be really helful. Thanks |

I did the crossing last year. We were on the early crossing from Rovinj to Venice and it was perfectly pleasant. I would definately recommend it.
Another tip - when in Rovinj get yourself to one of the cliffside bars for the sunset where you will find yourself sitting on a cushion on the cliff sipping a cocktail watching the sunset - VERY romantic for the honeymoon! Enjoy

the bar with the cushions that the other poster was talking about is called Valentino's and is absolutely AMAZING! :) the waitress who is in her 30's there with the blonde hair is soooo funny :) she's been there the past two summers :)
