I'm Dutch and that text has some words similar to Danish.
So let me make a fool of myself and hopefully cachaseiro or another Danish VT-er will correct me :-) a fish fillet (sole?) à la meunière with something and something, boiled?steamed? potatoes and some sort of sauce. LOL !

Meunierestegt means that the fish (filet = thin slices) is turned in flour and then fried in butter, served with maybe chopped parsil.
rejer = shrimps ærter = pees Hvide kartofler = regular white potatoes. Smørsauce = buttersauce And you're right about the fish. Rødtunge is lemon sole :) So it sounds like a nice dish that'll get your cholesterol number going :)

So I was right about the à la meunière :-)
And I should've known 'ærter'. It's almost the same as Dutch 'erwten'. Would smørsauce not be Sauce Hollandaise? That would be classic with this classic dish.

Sauce Hollandaise would be good with this I think. But buttersauce "fattnes" up the fish a bit more. It's not the same.
And thank you to my ever stalking and talking dictionary for correcting pees to peas.

Indeed it's not the same. But both are good. So where the mussels I had today :-)
