Heading to Phoenix for the Steelers game on 9/30/07. Are there hotels close or convenient to the Cardinals Stadium?

Hello! Yes, there are myriad hotels (3 that I can think of) within 6-7 miles of the stadium (all freeway). All of these hotels are walking distance to plenty of restaurants and bars as well. Enjoy your stay and go Cardinals;)

They are developing the area near the stadium, so there's not as much there as there will be years from now. The west side was, until very recently, a dump that no one wanted to be associated with. However, the stadium is right off the Loop 101, which goes around the city (as the name implies) and has plenty of hotels, dining, etc. If you want a really nice place to stay, take the 101 about 25 miles northeast to the Tatum Ranch area (101 and 51). There is a JW Marriott and several other nice hotels there, and you'd be close to a lot of other attractions.
