exactly how and where do you get the barge to go to the island? how much does it cost? we'll be arriving by cruise ship

Hi the ferry boats to stone island are close by where you will be docking, ask anyone when you get off the ship and they will direct you toward the boats leaving for stone island.

Ah, if you're arrive by cruise ship it's even easier. The dock is like a quarter mile from the embarcadero for Stone Island boats. You can walk or take a taxi or pulmonia.

Try Victor's restaurant, one of the last ones away from the breakwater. Great cook and fascinating guy.
