We'll I believe the Both hotels are wonderfully located they are write in the city centre.

Adelaide is really not that big and everything from where you will be will be walking distance.
You should definatly catch the tram at night to Gleenelg and walk along the jetty at night.
Maybe the Adelaide museum, Art gallery and please don't forget the river torrens at night that is beautifully lit up or during the day you can paddle boat on there.

For around $3 you can take the popeye which is a boat up the river and get off at the adelaide zoo or just cruise up and back.

Will you be going anywhere else in SA??

There are many places else where you can just catch the train or bus to in SA.
Actually on the train you can nealry access every where.

So please send me a message if your visiting anywhere else.

Hi Turki,
I found the Best Western Adelaide Riviera Motel to be very dirty, old and out of the way. I don't know the Adelaide Paringa so can't help you with that one. I don't know about the price but Hotel 208 is quite good. Its a bit old but in a good position and has very clean rooms(something I find very important). If you have any more questions re Adelaide let me know, I lived there for 5 years.
Nick

We stayed at the Paringa hotel in April and we found the location excellent
The hotel itself was very clean and tidy but it is old and historical I believe it was originally a radio station
The staff were friendly and the Cafe Bouvlevard restaurant downstairs under the hotel was great for meals We had breakfast ,lunch and dinner here .Our room was large it had 2 single beds as well as a queen bed and an older style spa bathroom .The air conditioner was a bit noisy as it is the older style .The facilities were old but clean .We would stay there again as it is right in the Rundle Mall shopping area We walked to the tram station to go to Glennelge and the Adelaide Sky City Casino and train station are about two blocks away .It was a good area to walk around and the trip to airport by taxi was from memory around $14 .The way I see it if you are only there to sleep then it is a good base to explore further from A tourist information place is across the road with lots of information on tours etc I am not sure about parking as we did not have a car .The entrance is in Gilbert Place behind restaurant and a pancake place is also in this lane way . Sorry I can not advise on The other motel as we have not stayed there .If you want luxury and modern facilities maybe try somewhere else but clean tidy and convenient the Paringa is fine Have a good trip
