I am planning to visit Munnar in second week of August . Please tell me about some good centrally located hotels in Munnar. Also about rains during that time? Is it occasional light rains or heavy rains.

Hi,
Most of the budget hotels are centrally located. If you are with your family, I would recommend you to stay bit far from town to enjoy tea plantation and local vegetation. do a search in http://www.travelgoogy.com with the word "Munnar" , you will get lot of budget hotels. but staying away from the centeral location will be adviseable to enjoy the real freshness of Munnar. it will be light rains occassionally.... but i am sure.. you will love it...
