Ok so many questions where do I start? Im staying at hedonism 2 in Negril, anyone been there? In Jamaica is it a better Idea for me to leave the jewelry at home? What about being a single woman should I be deathly afraid? What about crime at Hedonism 2,very MUCH? outside the compunds walls of Hedonsim aweful?

Yes, I have been there it is a wonderful place to stay, many things to do. I will tell you that Negril is a great place, my wife stayed for 3 months alone and was never bothered. You ahve the normal beach hustlers, but that is common at all beaches in the world, locals selling the wares or themselves. As any place in the world you have to be careful with what you do, my wife walked to the store and resturants everyday and had a great time. Where your jewelry and put it in your safe when not wearing, like all hotels. There are no walls along the beach, you can walk the whole 7 mile beach. There is a wesite Negril.Com that has a message board and you can read about all the trip reports and things to do, it is full of information and people who travel to Negril several times a year, look at it and you will get all the information you can read. Have fun and go to some local resturants to enjoy the local food and people.

i went to Jamaica last year and found it was a very safe place. I went out often during my stay and no one ever bothered us. The locals are some of the most friendliest people ive ever met.
