We are going to Fort Worth soon, where is a place to get some authentic Texas barbeque, not a chain, but some place with a screen door, paper plates and a line halfway around the building.

It's Fort Worth. They don't do barbeque.
They do chicken-fried steak.

It is true that Dallas is the home of some of the archetypal barbecue places like Sonny Bryan's, whose original place was in a parking lot near Love Field, and as there was no place to sit (except for a few wooden school desks), partons would eat on the hoods of their cars ;-)
However, you might look into Angelo's and the Railhead in Ft. Worth. People seem to either love or hate Angelo's (more love than hate, but some of the bad reviews are really bad), while the Railhead gets great reviews from local publications (for what that's worth)...I think I've been to Angelo's but I can't remember (does that say something?) and I haven't been to the Railhead at all... Bill
