Bonn 1985 museum exhibit
Posted: Fri July 27, 2007 09:08 AM UTC
I visited a mueseum in Bonn ( I believe) in 1985. I remember a King Tut exhibit as well as a snake exhibit. The snake was in a long glass case. It had apparently died while consuming a large wild boar.

My question is- do I have the correct museum, or is it a different one. I was only 12 years old at the time, so it is difficult to remember.

Thank you for your time.
Sincerely,

Michelle

There is the Museum Koenig - a zooligical research museum.

This is a rather well known museum (and the "birthplace" of the Federal Republic of Germany).

Than there is the small Egyptian Museum in Bonn

Both could have been however well temporary exhibitions. Esp. the king Tut one. There was a big Tut-ench-Amun one 2004/2005 in Bonn. I remember also one in the 80s when we made a school trip to Munich. Maybe this one was later also in Bonn.
