| Zeebrugge | Travel from Zeebrugge to Dunkerque Posted: Thu July 26, 2007 02:40 PM UTC
We are going to be in Zeebrugge in September, arriving on a cruise ship.
I would like to go to Dunkerque for the day. I don't see any direct train connection. Is there a bus that travels between Zeebrugge and Dunkerque? (Or, if necessary, from Brugge to Dunkerque?) Thank you. |

Getting to Dunkerque from Zeebrugge using public transport is not trivial. You're going to France after all.
There is the coastal tramway, which goes all along the Belgian coast. This will take you from Zeebruge to De Panne/Adninkerke in about 1 1/2 hours. It's actually quite a nice trips, with nice views of the sea. Trams run quite frequently (every 10 minutes in summer). In Addinkerke there is a bus to Dunkerque that takes about 40 minutes, and that leaves just a few minutes after the hour.
