Hi there fellow travellers,

I am travelling to Tunisia on the first of August arriving quite late. I am planning to stay at the airport and catch the first bus to the city of Tunis in the morning. Anyway, as usual I am not very much prepared and was wondering if there is anyone like me to hook up with and travel a bit together.

Alright then, je pense qu'il faut parler Francais en Tunisie, right? Tu parles Francais? Moi, je parle un peu. Anyway, I gotta go and pack my bagpack and I need to buy a pair of good pants and maybe a shirt. I have already bought a hat, one of them bloody indie hats. I used to wear those before they got fashionable so I can't wear them in London anymore... I live in London but I am not English. I am from Switzerland. Anyway, see you there... maybe...

I am sorry I won't be travelling around Tunisia as I live here; but I just wanted to make a bet ;)
I know u just written few words, but with such attitude I am sure u ll get fun anywhere throughout the world, and for sure so much fun in Tunisia.
Any folks who want to bet :p

you do not need to stay at the airport even very late you have taxi service and it is not expensive(between 5 and 10 dinars eg 4 and 8 usd or 2 and 4 pounds)it all depends on where you plan to go afterwards.
you have 2 bus main station in tunis at bab saadoun if you visit the north and bab alioua if you plan to go southward.all along with this station you have le LOUAGE which is a collective taxi tha t will take you anywhere to the one condition it is full(you can pay for as many vacant seats if you want to go without waiting
speaking french is not compulsory as many tunisians working in the tourism activity speak english and german too
