North of Büsum is a sand bank where seals enjoy the sun. You can book a tour but should definitely bring binoculars. Since they are protected animals, the ships are advised to stay somewhat clear from them.
Then there is a seals station or ward in Friedrichskoog, not far from Büsum, where animals can recover which is open for the public.
Best place to stay and relax (for us humans ;-) ) is still Amrum in my opinon, i.e. in Norddorf or perhaps Nebel if you don't fancy a long beach too much.
I guess there are tours to the aforementioned sand bank.
Are you already in Germany? If not, consider visiting the East Frisian Islands instead. My favourite is Langeoog with Spiekeroog ranking second. It's expensive, but incredibly calm; you won't even see cars. And especially Langeoog has far more to offer than the dull and boring mainland. And yes, there are tours for those who'd like to see some seals.
