Hi,
I have been offered a position in the Mesaieed Medical Clinica with QP. Was wondering if anyone out there knew anything about them and mostly the living accommodations. The offer appears good and I've worked in the Middle East for many years so have much experience (some good, some bad) with crappy living digs and offers that go bump in the night. I know Mesaieed is about 40 km South of Doha and it's primarily an industrial city but apart from that, I haven't found much on the Internet about it. I did hear in my interview that I would have unshared "bachelor" accommodations in a newly constructed building, paid for, all inclusive (whatever that means), etc. etc.
Anyone out there with first hand experience, I would be most grateful.

Well Molly, welcome to Doha
Accomodation in Messaid generaly are fine, especially QP, the most important thing in ur offer is that accomodation is paid by them NOT BY U(koz its terribly expensive here if u pay on ur own)
BUT u have to have a car some how whether u buy via bank loan which is vy easy or ur rent koz its abt 42KM from Doha airport area.
U need to install internet in the accomodation when u arrive immediately or it would be hard to find internet cafe with suitable working hours for u..
of course a mobile from Qtel (hopefully vodafone soon :)
