Sorry mate cant give you a location cause we have them all over the place......

But seriously, padi fields are as common as........ houseflies in Malaysia.

But you most likely will find better fields up north in Kedah.

Hi!

Merlimau in Melaka has nice padi field sceenery (if it still around now). Hve a look at Negeri Melaka page under off the beaten path tip here: http://www.virtualtourist.com/travel/Asia/Malaysia/Negeri_Melaka/Off_the_Beaten_Path-Negeri_Melaka-R-1.html

The nearest active padi field to town is quite near to the famous Klebang beach. From the town to Klebang by using the coastal road, you will see a police station on your right. Turn right after the traffic light (there's a signage to Bukit Rambai, Tanjung Minyak). If you see Senyum Supermarket on your right, then you need to turn back a bit. Drive straight for about less than 5 minutes you may see the padi field. It is near the main electric gridlines. I notice that they grew normal and even black padi.

PM me if you need any further clarification.

Take care.
