air berlin flies from Dusseldorf to both PAris Orly and Paris CDG. They are a budget airline, worth checking prices for your dates

Check Air France and Lufthansa also, they may have some deals.
For the eurolines bus check www.touring.de For trains check www.bahn.de

Check with Thalys if you can get a special ticket for these trains from Cologne to Paris Nord.
http://www.thalys.com From Düsseldorf you can travel on a local public transport ticket (EUR 9,30) to Cologne. No night trains on this route.

You can also fly from Köln (Cologne) to Paris with discount flights.
I advise against the flights because the cities are so close. You can take the train from Cologne to Paris in 4 hours and then you can at least see some scenery. If you fly, you have to figure: 1.5 hours ahead of the flight at the airport, 1 hour flight, plus at least 1 hour waiting for luggage and travel to the city = 3.5 hours total. The cheap flights also fly either early or late, so you may have to wake up around 4 AM. So there is no real advantage to flying (unless the price is very very low), plus short haul flights like this really pump out a lot of CO2.
