Hi Nitin,

You might like to stay in the beach resort of Glenelg. This is where I stayed when I visited Adelaide last year.

I can recommend the Glenelg Beach Hostel (http://www.glenelgbeachhostel.com.au/) as a good value place to stay.

The historic tram runs from Glenelg to the centre of Adelaide every few minutes throughout the day. The journey is between 20 and 30 minutes. Trams depart from Moseley Square, which is just a 2 minute walk from the Glenelg Beach Hostel.

Good luck!

Jonathan

Hi Nitin,

You sound like you have a tight budget. Why not try university accommodation? Most unis have some flats or student rooms for rent throughout the semester. Try University of Adelaide, and Flinders University and University of South Australia. USA and UOA are in Adelaide city while Flinders is just out of town a bit. Ring the accommodation dept and ask if they have short term accommodation. Hoep that helps.
