I tried the 18th Street ma hua but they are too hard and crunchy for my taste.
I prefer the "gou bu li baozi" (buns that even dogs don't want) as long as there is no Beijing cardboard inside!

Ha, seems you had traveled for many places. Iwas born in Tianjin but don't like the taste of Gou Bu Li meat burn, it is too much oil in it.
BTW, are you a Chinese?

I love ma hua! It's the brown curly things, right? My wife sometimes makes them.
