We will be driving from Anaheim, California heading to Las Vegas sometime mid of August. Does anyone out there have good short easy route? Any details would be greatly appreciated! Cheers to all!

Yeah, that one way is to get to Highway I-15 heading north. There are a number of ways to get to that highway depending on where you are in Anaheim. If you are leaving from the east side of Anaheim, then 91 east to I-15 north is the only way. If you are in the west, south, or north, then also consider this route in addition to 91: 57 north to 60 east to I-15 north. You'll also want to check traffic conditions for either route before you leave, as heavy traffic on either route can add a lot to your driving time.

I-15 really is the best route from where you are - there are other possibilities but they will be far more crowded. Also carry some water with you because you will be in some very hot and dry areas after crossing the pass that takes you into the desert. If your car starts to overheat, turn off the AC - you would be amazed at the number of cars that overheat and "die" by the side of the road out there. Another thing to do to cool off a car is to tun on the heater - I know this sounds strange but it pulls heat away from the engine.
