Although I've been to Düsseldorf a lot (my Oma lives there), I have always stuck around the altstadt for nights out. I'm heading out there in a couple of weeks for a long weekend with a friend and wanted to know where the other hotspots are for nightlife?
I'm mostly looking for pubs (preferably late opening ones) - any suggestions? I'm guessing the harbour could be an option, but never really wandered down there so I don't really know what to expect. I'd like to keep it to within walking distance of the altstadt really (as we're based not far from there) although short tram rides are fine. Any suggestions would be most appreciated. |

I am also interested in this. I just moved to Düsseldorf about a month ago and was wondering where to go out. Altstadt is good, but on the weekend it is full only with people who come from outside Düsseldorf. I was wondering where all the locals go on Friday and Saturday?
