Or from Jayapura to Goroka? I can't find any flight schedules online from either place or even to Port Moresby. Also has anyone gone to the Goroka show without reservations? The guidebooks say not to, but I have always wanted to go and the only hotel with an email address there is already full. I would appreciate any advice on trying to get there from Jakarta and the hotel situation? Thanks so much!

Hi
Could i sugest that you read the reply to the post on this forum re money exchange.He lives in PNG and has warned a female not to travel without male company.This is not a safe country to travel even for locals.When i was there briefly a coulpe of years ago they had an armed guard sitting by the money machine. Also if you havent,check the cost of flying to PNG because it is extremly expensive to get in and out.Only PNG air and no competition. Wish you well and not trying to pour cold water on your trip plans but you may not get another trip if you get this one wrong cheers Brendan
