Hi everyone
I have been to golden sands twice now and love the place and the friendly people, i have visited veliko turnavo, cape kaliakra, albena , regachavo, varna and i am looking to visit some more nice places , i have heard that nessabar is a place to visit on my next trip , any other places to visit that are of interest? .I just love the way bulgaria is,its pretty,sceenic and the people couldnt be more friendly and they like it when i try to learn a little bulgarian.I am currently trying to find a nice hotel for my birthday trip , so far i have stayed at preslav which was a nice hotel and also at edelwiese but i didnt like that hotel as they tried a con on my friends and me so i definately wouldnt go back there.I have got to know a taxi driver well and a few of the staff at muppets kareoke bar and im hoping to get to meet some more nice frienly people on my trip in september for my birthday bash.Any recommendations on places to visit would be great help and good hotels would be appreciated too.

Hi there. I am glad liked Bulgaria so much. And sorry for your bad experience in that hotel, was it edelweiss? No you want to go to Nessebar and look for a nice place to stay? Please, give me an idea of your financial requirements about the staying? Because I can offer you good hotels for a little price, and super hotels for a little more. Something like the Vigo hotel in nessebar. I can then give you a tel. number of my friend - a taxi driver in nessebar who can show you around.
So - if you can be more specific on your requiremetns about the hotel I can suggest you several hotels. In fact, I will supposedly even be for my vacantion in nesebar in the beginning of septemeber, so I can show you around, we'll see.

Zdrasti! if you have already travelled land inwards as far as Veliko, then maybe your next trip could include Plovdiv or Kopprivshtitsa. a less far away is Tryavna. Varna is also a nice place. have fun!

I definately will stay in golden sands as i love the muppets kareoke bar and i love to sing songs.
As for hotel to stay in golden sands im not to sure but i would like to be around the area of party street or within a minute or twos walking distance from the muppets bar,Preslav was a good distance of only a couple of minutes walking time.
I definately will want to visit nessubar as i would like to find that restaurant that is in the cliffs as i have seen a picture of it from my friends trip there and it looks fantastic.
I'm not sure of exact dates of travel as i will need to make sure a flight is available from here direct to varna aiport which then meens i will get out on the night i would get to bulgaria and celebrate my birthday twice in one day lol.
Thanks for the two replys on places to visit as i look forward to travel around bulgaria and site seeing a couple of times in my weeks visit there as bulgaria is a beautiful country.

Yes opola it was the edelweiss.
They did a damaged towel con which i feel was not on and when i paid for the damaged towel it was clearly cut and on the plastic bag the number had been put over the top of lots of other room numbers so its clearly a scam they regularily try and doing such things will put off good customers like my friends and i from staying there again.When i had given them the 20 levs for the towel they tried to take back the damaged towel con so i said i dont think so as i have paid for that and i took it off them as i wouldnt want them to con more people with it.Cons like that being done on customers is a disgrace and and insult to us good customers and doing such things will stop good customers from staying in the hotel again, i would have stayed there again as it was a nice hotel but i definatly will never stay there again because of that con.

well i have booked my holiday for 6th september to 13th and i booked the aphrodite hotel which is in a great position next door to my favourite place muppets kareoke bar. I cant wait till september.

I strongly recomend Nessebar or The Island of the fishemans, thei are ther meny small restorants with very gut plates of frysh fish
