Hi, I am visiting Xian during August 2007 for 3-4 days and also want to visit places around. Could someone be my guide or help find a local guide during this visit. Thanks

You could organise a guide through the hotel you are staying at. We did. The hotel we stayed at was the Bell Hotel. See our page.
