how far is the atlantis casino and The Dig from the cruise ship dock and the best mode of treansportation ?

From the ship dock, there is a ferry nearby that takes you to Paradise Island I believe is $3 per person, DO NOT TAKE IT!! I was recently there and we thought about going by ferry, that was until a taxi driver aproached us and said if we take the ferry we are wasting time. It so happens they need to wait until its filled up (or at least more than half filled) to cross to the other side, at first we didn't believe him but then we realized it was true because we were shopping around and an hour later the ferry was still there and the same people waiting. We took a cab who charged us $15 (we were at the Atlantis) and on the return from downtown the cab charged $16 because they gotta pay $1 toll at the bridge. It was 5 of us so it wasnt so bad. By the way its maybe a 15 minute or less ride, it all depends on traffic. =0)
