Does anyone know the cost of a taxi from Gibraltar to Tarifa? My last chance to look at this is tomorrow (Friday), so I would be really grateful if anyone could reply asap.

All i can tell you is it's approx 30 miles & Gibraltar Taxis are not allowed to enter Spain so you would need to walk across the border & pick up a Taxi from there ( La Linea ) . I can only guess at about 50-70 euro's as i've always had a hire car when going to & from Gibraltar, Darren.

I think it is easy enough to take a bus from LA LINEA. It's not very far to walk across the border to the bus station at La Linea. If you don't know where it is - just ask anyone.
There are buses that run regularly around the bay to Algeciras. About 30 minutes duration. From Algeciras bus station there are buses to Tarifa. Or there are certain buses that go to Algeciras and then proceed along the coast stopping at Tarifa on their route. For example, there appears to be a bus that leaves La Linea bus terminal at 11.30 then gets to Algeciras at 12 noon and proceeds to Tarifa reaching their at 12.20.
