Other Great Mountains In Canada

This maybe the wrong forum to post this... but what are some other cool mountains in BC? I'm looking to get to Whistler but thought I'd ask if any of you guys would recommend some other great places?

Well I have a guaranteed job at Whistler in Lift Operations but I'm still trying to get to Smithers, have been emailing with the Mountain Manager and he seems keen but is flat out till September and wants to talk then (fingers crossed) so its looking good :-). I know Whistler is a beautiful mountain and I will visit but its way to commercial for me. Smithers is the kinda place for me, about as far north as you can get, a sweet little mountain and it wont be full of tourists and since I'll be one I want to live and work in Canada with Canadians... ANYway thx to all you guys for your replies it has been really helpful and all the other threads with helpful info *Thumbs Up*

Heya Muzzaa

just a quick question, I'm just sussing out the shared accommodation in Smithers (being google'ing by butt off) but with little luck and was hoping you could tell me if any of the local newspapers are online (for classifieds) or should I just look when I get there?

Cool thx Muzzaa and Dave,

Before you guys pointed me in the right direction it was kinda hard to work out which newspaper covered what areas. As for facebook "its eeevil I tells ya" but I do have an account, but there was no Smithers, BC Network so I started one... see how that goes.

someone reminded me that the real estate agents in town arrange rental situations as well, might be an avenue to persue...no new snow yet, but it is getting colder now
