If you post postcards from the main post office near to the cathedral
,they charge a pound a stamp and then when you leave take the stamps off and bin your cards...hearth breaking. I sent all my cards from there and NONE arrived |

That's right, about the costs. 5 or 6 soles if I remember correctly.
I always send my postcards from the post-office in Miraflores on the Avenida Petit Thouars and all of them have always arrived.

Had bad experience myself.
Since then I buy them, take them with me, and post them when I arrive home. You have to fool the system.
