Sarajevo Travel Forum

I am staying in Skopje for a few weeks. Afterwards I'd like to travel to Sarajevo. Is it safer to travel by bus or train? How long and how much does it take?

any recommendations for safe, clean lodging?

If u go for the train (we still do not have a good railroad connection established after the early 90-ies -> so check the lines in skopje at the station) i suggest sleeping wagon or couchet-safer and more comfy. I'd take that trip that way if the line is available. With a bus it will be terribly tiring, I am nearly certain it is more than 10hours...but am not sure. I hope this post is of some help to you.
