I would like to visit the Hermitage by myself, I mean without taking a tour. Are there any special days when it is open only for groups? Thanks for your help. |

There are no special days only for groups. See the info at http://www.hermitagemuseum.org/html_En/index.html http://www.hermitagemuseum.org/html_En/02/hm2_1.html Main museum complex: Tuesdays - Saturdays 10.30 - 18.00 Sundays 10.30 - 17.00 Closed Mondays Ticket windows shut one hour before the museum closes Have a nice time in our city!

The Hermitage is great to just wander. You can rent self-guided audio tours if you like, or just read a book about the collections ahead of time. There is too much to see ina day or two, pick your highlights!
We always go without tour.
