Can anybody tell me any cheap car rentals places in kuantan where i can rent a car just for 1 day?

Try the car rental listings on
http://www.asiaoz.com/malaysia_car_rental.html Try Orix or Avis, they have the local websites there for and those should have Kuantan car rental, Orix have 2 locations in Kuantan, at the airport and also at the Hotel Grand Central Kuantan, if you are in town then the location at the Grand central probably convenient, they will probably drop the car to you at your hotel.

depends how you get to Kuantan, if you fly in, there are plenty of well-established car-rental at the airport, quite a good deal. if you arrive by road (coach, taxi), you may need to catch a cab to the car rental office.
