Syria reservation for buses and accomodation
Posted: Mon July 16, 2007 02:45 PM UTC
We will be travelling to Syria from the end of July till the end of August. In which regions is a bus reservation or accomodation reservation "necessary" and if so, how many days in advanced should we book? Roughly, we will visit Damascus, Aleppo, Palmyra, Hama & Lattakia.

Thanks!

hi

for the buses don,t worry cause there is no need to book , there is buses go in these ways every 1-2 hour and prices not more 3$ per route , for the hotel you must know what is the class you need and then try look and book cause some times it,s be fully booked in summer

best wishes

Bus reservations can be made a day in advance or even an hour in advance. It depends on the day and time of the week. Thursdays and Fridays are the busiest days for travel. Mid day schedules are easier to book. Most of the major bus lines are clean, comfortable, affordable and air conditioned. Steer clear of the older looking buses with lots of junk hanging from the sides and in the windows. These do not offer air conditioning and make constant stops in the villages which will increase your travel time.
