| Mazatlán | Bus service to Ajijic/Guadalajara Posted: Fri July 13, 2007 04:49 PM UTC
Does anyone have any information regarding bus service from Mazatlan to Ajijic/Guadalajara? I would prefer not to have to go into Guadalajara at all, so was wondering if it's at all possible to get off the bus at one of the smaller towns outside the city, and take a cab or local bus to Ajijic?
If anyone can help with prices, schedules, trip length, etc, I would greatly appreciate it....thanks! I tried looking at the ETN website, but it's all in Spanish so I'm a bit lost! Thanks again for any info! |

Go to www.estrellablanca.com.mx, the Turistar Ejecutivo is the best bus to and from Mazatlan to Guadalajara, I will be honest I do not know how you are going to avoid going to Guadalajara or en reality Tonala which is where the bus station is. The cost is about 60 US each way, it is a little more than the regualar buses but worth it. It does not make tons of stops, I know it leaves from Mazatlan at 11AM and 8PM I think, I am not very sure but the site has an 800 number and allows you to buy your tickets on line.
Hope this helps.
