hi, everyone,

i just phoned the Marimari travel agent after 2 days waiting for the resort booking information, they simply told me langkawi island is fully booked for the month Jul, and Aug, not even 1 room that i can get through them in this island, is it possible?

and what makes upset is that they didn't have to let me wait for 2 days to tell me No. if i didn't ask them my booking today, i guess they will just keep me waiting till God knows when, can't believe their service, already shaked my anticipation for going to malaysia.

anyway, stll have the problem here, need a place to stay for 3 or 4 days in langkawi for 2 adults and 2 kids, will it possible to find in this time. please help me here.

Well this depends on the date you are looking at? The last week of August, avoid these dates as 31 August is our National Day and coincident with a weekend. Other days is ok. Try this www.awana.com.my, this hotel is quiet nice. Look for Awana Porto Malai. There are a lots of other hotels too, like Westin, Tanjung Rhu. Do let me know if you need help in this.

i will be in Langkawi on 19th of July, maybe stay 3 or 4 days, if we really like the place we can extend our stay, since we are going for 2 weeks in malaysia, just need to be back to KL by the end of July for back home.

i have check a lot for the resort in Langkawi, my first day which on 19th, i wanted to stay in Tanjung Rhu Resort, but Marimari email me a negtive answer.
so if i can find any 4 star resort with good kids club will be good, but my worry is that maybe no any room at all in langkawi, since marimari gave me the idea that the whole island is fully booked for 2 months. i really don't know, can you please tell me is it possible to find room for next week?

If you have a short booking period (30 days or less), you never depends on just one agent. Check out with few agents at the same time. Some agents have rooms allocations and they can confirm with you immediately.

You could try out Westin Langkawi Resort & Spa, Bayview Hotel, Pelangi Beach Resort, Berjaya Beach & Spa Resort, Datai Hotel, Four Seasons Resort. I know why they said these two months is busy as the Saudi Tourist are a lot here in Malaysia these few months starting July.

Do let me know how is the booking.
