Stendal Travel Forum

I will be travelling by car from Rostock to Magdeburg via Pritzwalk, Stendal, Tangermünde. I am looking for a moderately priced hotel in pleasant surroundings

I have stayed at this hotel in Tangermünde and can positively recommend it as a decent place to stay:

There also is an option to stay in a hotel located within the premises of the old castle, great view down the Elbe river and the marshes on the opposite side of the high bank

Tangermünde and Stendal are very nice places deserving a lot more tourist attention and also a lot more business in general. Haven't been to Pritzwalk yet, so can't say how it is there. The area has a lot to offer, it is a bit off the beaten track but will repay exploration!
