Jiddah Need some advise

I am going to Jiddah next friday (13 July) with a visit visa. First 5 days I will be in Red Sea Palace hotel for official purpose. then i am free and have to find a cheap hotel!!. I have a plan to go Makkah, Madina and Riadh; I am a Bangladeshi Muslim.

Is there any bus service to visit those places (i prefer night journey)?
Can i move alone in those places without any guide?
Is there any restriction about clothing? I normally ware shirt pant..
Is there any bangladeshi hotel or resturent in Jeddah? if yes, can i have address?

well, i got more q's but ... let first get those answers from my VT friends...

Thanks in advance

Interesting questions. If your are going to Makkah for umra, u should know what to dress. There is no other dress codes in sauid arabia for men at least.
If you have a visa, i believe u can visit Makka and Medina. It depends on your visa for riyad. Vistors visa, it is OK.

Near redsea palace, there is a cheaper and clean hotel called Burja. It is a walking distance toward Babu-Maka area. For bangali food, there is a plenty of places to eat. Dont worry!
You can take a cab to Makka, Medina you need to take a bus - day or night, it is your choice.

Thanx man!!

This will help a lot indeed.

I understand that nobody can go to Makkah just for a visit. I will go for Umra ofcourse, but i assumed i have to dress-up after going there.

You mean I can go to Riadh with a visit visa, right?

thanks once again

Yes, you can to Riyad with a vistor's visa - indeed, anywhere in KSA.
O the Umara, you can dress for it at the end of your business - and grab a cab to Makkah.
Good luck.

Thanks Mr. Hashis for your information.

I like to invite VT members living in Jiddah to meet me at the Redsea Palace hotel on 17th July. See... I don't know anybody in Jiddah, even those people who invited me for job. I found that only the VT members are the closest ones!!

So i take this opportunity to spend some good time with great plasure!!!
