Belize Belize in October - a couple questions

Hi all,

We are looking at going to Belize in mid October of this year. It's our first trip there so I have a few questions...

Currently trying to decide between Ambergris Caye and the Dangriga area - how are the beaches in these areas and since we're planning to travel in October, which area is likely to have less rain (or will it make a difference)?

Has anyone stayed at 'Journeys End' (Ambergris) or 'Kanantak' (Dangriga) - if so, what are your opinions on these places?

I've been to Belize several times and prefer Caye Caulker to Ambergris Caye any day unless you want a lot of nightlife, more tourism and more expensive lodging. The beaches are the same.

Belize caye beaches are not like the Caribbean, but they are sandy and you can snorkel somewhat.
