Can anyone help with the above. My partner and I need to be at Dusseldorf Airport on 11 July am and would like names of bus companies or taxi firms who do not charge the earth to take us to airport and back. Any suggestions to prices and companies.

Maybe you're not flying at all because you want a 'there and back' advice?

If you're going to Weeze airport:
- Veldhoven to Eindhoven station: take a bus, just under 30 mins, cost 1,36 euro.
- Einhoven-Venray: take the train (one train change at Blerick), leaves 2x per hour, cost single trip 10,70 euro (duration 1 hr 14 mins).

If you're going to Dusseldorf International Airport:
- Veldhoven to Eindhoven station: take a bus, just under 30 mins, cost 1,36 euro.
- Eindhoven-Dusseldorf Flughafen: search on www.bahn.de (English version available), leaves once per hour, cost single trip € 28,40 (duration under 2.5 hours).

wow 1,36 euro from eldhoven to eindhoven? anke=thea, how is that possible, i pay from home to the center already more than 3 euro! unless you have a strippenkaart? than its only 3 strips and from veldhoven to the city its about 5-6 strips...

Lacking an address in Veldhoven, I put in the Veldhoven town hall address and Eindhoven Central station as destination address.

aha ok now i get it:-) its when you have a strippenkaart ( 15 strips 6,80 or 45 strips which costs 20,10 euro) then its possible:-) so it depends in which area of veldhoven you are thanx Anke Thea
