I am travelling to Belle Italia Holiday Park on 7th September,arriving in Bergamo Airport at 21.15. I don't drive, so I need to use Public Transport. Can anybody help ? Alternativly would it be better to stay overnight in a Hotel near the Airport and travel to Belle Italia the next day ?

Well, you are getting in pretty late. According to the hotel's website (http://www.camping-bellaitalia.it/eng/arrivare.html - I hope this is the place you meant), by train you come to Peschiera del Garda, then take a bus up to the site. Note that they spell it "Bella Italia".

Well, if there were trains running at the exact time you needed, it would still be at least 1.5 hours to get from either Bergamo or Milan to Peschiera del Garda - so that would put you at the bus stop no sooner than 11 p.m. I wouldn't be surprised if that was at the end of the bus' running for the evening.

And, unfortunately, you don't have many choices in trains. From Milan, there is one train that leaves at 22:15 (arrives at 23:49 - almost midnight!) - and I don't know if you can even get down to Milano Centrale in an hour (I'd have to look up the bus schedules - or you can by looking at the airport's website at www.sacbo.it).

From Bergamo, you would first have to get over to the train station from the airport, then the only train is at 23:11 (arrives in Peschiera del Garda at 02:11, with a change)...this is plainly way too late.

So, I don't know if staying in a hotel near the airport in Bergamo or in town or whatever is best, but trying to get all the way to your park by public transportation that same evening just doesn't seem like it's going to work...

I haven't checked direct buses, but, again, this is pretty late in the evening...
