| Austin | Accomodation rental for about 5 nights with good rates Posted: Fri July 6, 2007 06:26 AM UTC
Hi all, need help in looking for a place to stay in Austin, preferably close to the Convention Centre. Price range, less than $100 per night.
I'm looking at options aside from motels, inn and hotels like Extended Stay. Any good suggestions? Would consider time sharing places if the requirements fit. Thanks! |

You can do the Homestead suites for $89 a night Homestead Studio Suites
507 S. First St.Austin, TX 78704, Telephone: 512-476-1818. They are across the river from the convention center, so you can either walk there (10-15 minute walk) or take a free bus called the Dillo. Or you can stay at the Austin Motel 1220 S. Congress Ave., Austin, Texas 78704 • 512.441.1157, which is in a *great* location, walking distance to shops and restaurants, with single rooms starting at $65 a night and go up from there, they are about 1 1/2 miles from the convention center, and again you could take the free dillo bus from there too, or just get a nice walk in. So, hopefully that helps you. Enjoy your trip!
