I'm moving to Blagoevgrad in Fall of 2008 to go to the American University in Bulgaria. I was really just wondering if anyone has attended the school or could tell me really what the city is like. Any information would be much appreciated.

My son studies in Blagoevgrad, in the Bulgarian Sowthwest University, and I have visited the town a couple of times. I can't say anything about the American University, but the town is just great - small, beautiful and with a very pleasant atmosphere. Full of young people - the students in the two universities are about 20% of the population. Hope you will like it.
