- I do not know much about hotel Rex, sorry
- The info about Nikola Tesla Airport is here: http://www.airport-belgrade.co.yu/code/navigate.php?Id=63

- Arriving 23:55 means you have to use taxi. Use only cabs from the list

http://www.airport-belgrade.co.yu/code/navigate.php?Id=106#259 and before you board, ask the new tourist info desk about the actual prices.

- Going to Timisoara can be by train. Train services are very reasonably priced, the price should be between 10 and 15 Euro.

Hi, I am Tanya, from Belgrade. I`ve visited this site and this forum for the first time tonight, wanting to find smbdy going to Tunisia, Suss/Port el Kantaui alone, female... For a long time, I am planning to go to vacation alone, without my husband, my friends... But, it seems that all the world of tourism wants to punish singles and prices are ten times higher then. Well, in tense to fulfill my desires, I found myself here. That`s the reason of my appearance on this site. Now, about your question... What is the main reason of your trip to Belgrade? Who told you to make reservation in this particular hotel - Rex? When you answer me how old are you and what are your intentions here, I`ll send you the first hand information and wish you pleasant stay in my town. I remain, Tanya

Hi!
From the airport you can take a bus or taxi. According to the bus, it`s true it goes til midnight so you must use taxi. Just like in Budapest, the exeption is that they have night trains. Anyway, before you step into the taxi ask for the price. Don`t accept more than 1000 dinars (12 euro) stright to your hotel and bargain with tham for even less money. I have never heard about Rex hotel, just be sure it`s in the downtown. Otherwise you`ll wast your time and nerves to get to the certain location by public transportation.
Change your money at any public exchange office or bank. Rates are same everywhere.
If you need anything more, feel free to ask!

Tenha una estadia grande!

Tanya, hello and welcome to VT forum. You`ll find out very soon how people can be friendly here. I have traveled alone for so many times and have great experiences. If you wanna go somewhere, just do it without a minut of hasitation. Stop persuading people to travel with you-mrtva trka! :) If you ask agencies they will always be in favour to rip you off.
It`s a thrilling thing to see that people want to explore Serbia and don`t have troubles to come over here even though if they hear rubbish on tv. It won`t stay as is for too long. So we are here to help them to enjoy this beauty. Lack of info can be really anoying.

Keep tracking lovely people! :)

Hi Antfra

I have been hoping you do not get any bad reviews of this hotel as I will be staying at it at the end of July.

The cost of room per night is 6800 dinars or 85euros

Hope you enjoy your stay

Hi and thanks... That`s fairly enough for me there are a few good men here, on this forum. I`ve almost forgotten how it looks like when you travel by inter rail all over Europe, crossin` obstacles hitchin from place to place, adding more and more international friends in your phonebook, in your hart... My generation slept over all of these years to come till today, I`ve been left all alone. Fortunately, friendship and love do not recognize nothing but beauty of living together in accordance with similar rules or breaking the same...
Wishin` you better generation than mine was...

Just returned form very extensive (only 3 days but a lot of driving) RS trip:

Budapest-Palic'-N.Hopovo-Beograd-Gornji Milanovac-Zica-Gornji Milanovac-Despotovac-Manasija-Despotovac-Beograd-Budapest on a large Dodge Grand Caravan. Will post the pics and update my page. Many things of course missed (large family, many people and many wishes need to be satsfied first, besides, my wife and 3 kids were after an exhausting transatlantic flight, myself and my mom after a very sad loss in the family). But ultimately it was pretty good and at last I kept my promise to Pupulainen (lighting candles at Manasija). But we missed Studenica and Lazarica...
