Need to get from airport to train station!

I'm flying into Philly and need to go directly from there to the train station, to take Amtrack to Portland, Maine. I've heard there's a subway from the airport to the train station. Is this true, and where can I find out more?

There is a train right at the airport that will take you down town to the amtrak station. It's really easy to figure out. Just ask anyone for directions.

After you get your luggage, just follow the signs to "Train to Center City." Cost is $5.50, and it goes directly to the 30th Street Station, at which is the Amtrak Station for Philly.

You can buy a ticket from a vending machine in the station or from the conductor on board (very old fashioned.) The train is a comfortable and easy way to get into downtown. If you are in a pinch a taxi is about $20.
