Traveling to Isarel is always good. There is no "mid" season - it's either high or low. The low season is November and February-March. Plane tickets will be somewhat cheaper then. Of course, it's off season because there are no major holidays - which is what attracts many people to Israel - and it can be cold and rainy at those times (November less so).

Shalom again:
I travel in Israel all the year round, during the heat of summer, just take a hat and more water. During winter it can be beautiful seeing a storm off the coast like I did in Acco two years ago. Each season has its good points, what would YOU consider a good time to visit where YOU live, and why??? Then maybe we could give answers according to what you are looking for.

I think that March is the best season to visit Israel, There are 50,000 flowering plants in Israel and this is the time to see them. Avoid Pesach (passover) holidays since all of Israel is traveling. Summer is usually sweltering so unless you are staying by a pool the entire time, this isn't the time to go. In recent years December and January have been the rainiest.
