Izmir izmir to assos

I am flying into Izmir and I need to get to Assos or Ayvacik. I know there is a bus that runs to Canakkale and I can get off in Ayvacik. I have no idea how to get from the airport to where the buses are. Any help would be appreciated. I've searched the web and cannot find any bus schedules nor where the bus terminal is.

You take the Havas bus service to the city which is cheper then a taxi fee. From Havas Bus office take a taksi and go to Izmir main Bus terminal. IZOTAS or OTOGAR is the short name of the terminal(In Turkish: izmir otobus terminali)

Assos lies in Greece according to Google Maps http://maps.google.co.uk/
At this website http://www.toandfromtheairport.com/turkey.html you can see the transfers to and from Izmir Adnan Menderes (ADB) Airport.

Greeks took our Baklava made baklavas,
Greeks took our shadow figur Karagoz made Karagosiz
Greeks took our Turkish Coffee and made Greek Coffee,
Greeks took our Dolma and made dolmas
act and so on
But not Assos
The ancient Assos is now Behramkale which means The Burg of Behram. Behram is the Turk who took Assos and made Turkish forever.

Just take a cab to the bus terminal. It's not too far from the airport. There you can catch your dolmus or bus. The lower level terminal has the larger buses for the longer trips and the upper level has the dolmus access. You just pay the driver.
