We hope to attend the Formula 1 race on 22 JULy 2007. Is one able to purchase general admission to the track, and walk the course to view the race, or must one purchase seats in Grandstand/Tribune? Any other tips on viewing a race at the Nurburgring will be greatly appreciated.

www.nuerburgring.de -- English version seems to be down at the moment though. I have scanned the German site and it seems to be so that you must purchase a ticket to a particular stand/tribune. This will of course include being free to walk around in the general area, but not when it comes to different portions of the racetrack.
I have never been there, sorry I can't tell you more about it.
