Hi Everyone, I've never been to Port Dickson and I'm wondering which is a more sensible idea and how long it'd take for me to get there.
1. Coach - Singapore to Melaka (4.5hours) >>> Coach - Melaka to Port Dickson Return the same way. Question : how long does it take to get from PD to Melaka? Understand the distance between KL to PD & Melaka to PD is the same? 2. Air - Singapore to KL >>> Coach - KL to Port Dickson Return Coach Melaka/KL - Singapore Any suggestions? Will we be able to hop onto a taxi from Melaka to PD? How much will that cost me? |

Hi!
Its easier to go to PD via KL rather then via Melaka - there are direct buses from KL to PD and you'll save the hassle of transiting in Seremban to go to the beach town. However, if you plan to take a cab from Melaka to PD, expect to pay maybe RM100+ per cab, the journey is about 1 hour. Ask the cab driver to use the more scenic coastal road from melaka to PD. -m-

Oh My God. I just booked myself on a coach to Melaka... I noticed that there are coaches heading from PD to Melaka but I can't seem to find any information for coaches that head from Melaka to PD?
Any sites to recommend?

In that case, most likely you have to go to Seremban from Melaka and from there, change to another bus to PD. As far as I know there's no direct bus frm Melaka to PD but I may be wrong, re-confirm on this when you are at the bus terminal in Melaka (Melaka Sentral).
