Ko Phi Phi Don Travel Forum

Me & my boyfriend will be staying at the phi phi villa resort for a week in July. We r looking forward to some quiet time and most of all the trips to all the islands and snorkeling. I have read really bad reviews about this resort but I have read bad reviews about most of the resorts (apart from phi phi village resort - of course because its much more expensive!!!), so if any one has stayed here please give me your good feedback, i do not want to know the bad things anymore, they are just making me nervous & worried. Everything is in walking distance I believe because its soo small and is there a variety of foods/cuisines to choose from?!
What else would you recommend doing whilst we are here?

me & my mates will be in phuket on 2nd week of july, and we are thinking of an overnight stay in phi phi. people in this forum said we should definitely stay, although not too long, as it will be worth it. I'm also thinking of booking a night at phi phi villa, as it is the cheapest around from my survey. where did you read all the bad reviews? i have yet to come accros, but i have for a couple of times e-mail and asking to make a reservation with them, but alas no reply.

I didnt stayed at Phi Phi Villa but in Andaman Beach resort (TERRIBLE) but as I could see the PhiPhi Villa seems to be a good hotel, with good bangaloos and good swiming pool. Just rent a aircon bangaloo.

Yeh we will be there 2nd & 3rd week of August!
TripAdvisor.com is where I read all the bad reviews, about 80% of them were bad, however you've got to try these things out for your self havnt you! Plus the rates were one of the cheapest!
Can you give me the website or link where you read the good reviews I would love to see them! How long will you be staying here for? We will be here for 1 week! Cant wait!

when i say that we sould definitely stay there, i didn't mean about phi phi villa resort, but the island itself. but, i do come accross 1 good review abt that resort here in this forum, but couldn't remember who said that and when though.
