Hi everyone,

I am going to a conference in Delft next Sunday. I will be staying in the Best Western Museum in Delft downtown. My plan is to arrive by train from Amsterdam train station.

I was trying to get the address for Delft Train Station in order to get an electronic map on how to go from the train station to the hotel. Unfortunately I have not been able to find this information.

Anyone can give me a hint?

Using the map that formica gave you, you'll see that "Stationsplein" is right in front of the station, as makes sense. Going to one of 45,000,000 hotel websites, you will see that the address of the hotel is "Oude Delft 189".

Then go to www.viamichelin.com and click on "Driving Directions". Enter the Stationsplein as the starting address and Oude Delft 189 as the ending address (and, of course, Netherlands and Delft). Then, towards the bottom under Options, click on "On foot". This should give you a map that shows how to walk from the station to the hotel - about 800 meters.

When I looked at your URL, I see that hotel's location marked, but not the train station's...I am wondering if we are seeing the same thing you are...

Press the satellite button and zoom in to the train tracks :)

Since many of us did not train as bombadiers or intelligence officers, reading satellite photos is not always easy ;-). The map that formica showed shows that the station is down just west of the Stationsbrug across the canal, right?

Yep, that's it...but I would have had trouble knowing for sure without formica's map from the Dutch rail website to compare it to...

To go back to the original question:

You don't need a map; just take the main exit cross the bridge and take a left.

(and thoses red lanes are bicycle lanes!!!)

Have fun in Delft! Excellent location for hotel. I stayed there once. Everything walkable from there.
